Super Green Smoothie

🌱This green smoothie always makes her feel energized and is perfect for a quick pick-me-up any day of the week.

Serving Size: 1
  • Protein - 2.4 g
  • Carbs - 32.2 g
  • Fat - .5 g

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of super greens
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce
  • 1 handful of each cilantro and italian parsley
  • 2 celery stalks
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 pear or apple (skin on)
  • 8 ounces water
  • 1/2 cup ice - optional

Cooking Utensils

  • high speed blender

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender and let it go!

 

To make this a protein smoothie:

  • sub water for unsweetened almond milk
  • add 1 scoop protein powder of choice – vanilla or unflavored would be best
  • use 1/2 frozen banana
