Slow-Cooker Sesame Chicken

Our feature recipe today is SUPER SIMPLE Slow-Cooker Sesame Chicken! This is ridiculously easy to prep and perfect for a workout or rest day because it can easily be paired with your favorite veggies or carbs! Save yourself some time, money AND avoid excessive amounts of sodium by making this NO-FAIL recipe.


  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Breast
  • 1/4 cup Braggs Liquid Aminos (found at Whole Foods)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 freshly squeezed lime


1. Trim excess fat off chicken and cut into bite-size (one inch pieces).

2. Blend all other ingredients until smooth.

3. Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour the blended mixture all over chicken to ensure that every piece is covered by the sauce.

4. Set your slow cooker for Low and approximately 2 hours. (This will vary depending on your slow-cooker).

5. After one hour, stir the chicken to make sure every side has been coated with the sauce.

6. Cook for another 45 minutes to an hour.

7. Optional – Broil for 3-5 minutes to give it some extra color!

8. Optional – Add toasted sesame seeds.

9. Pair with your favorite veggies or carbs! I used a ready-made stir fry veggie mix from Publix.
