Low Carb Zesty Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is a staple for most families celebrating Turkey Day. But this guy can be jam-packed with refined sugars.

So I decided to give this traditional topper a lighter twist with a pop of ginger!





Serving Size: ~ 2 tbsp
  • Protein - .1 g
  • Carbs - 6.6 g


  • 12 oz. bag organic fresh cranberries
  • 1 medium orange, freshly squeezed (~3/4 cup)
  • 2 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 12 packets Monk Fruit in the Raw sweetener (sub for 1/2 cup granulated Erythritol)

Cooking Utensils

  • medium sauce pan


In a medium saucepan, add cranberries, orange juice, orange zest and ginger  and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium low and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until most of the cranberries have popped. The mixture should become thick! This should take 30-40 minutes.
