Butter-Fried Cabbage

When cabbage gets an upgrade… you get this super tasty and filling low carb side dish! Before you turn your head to butter, just know that if it’s used in moderation and is of quality grade… NO HARM DONE! So LIVE a little! This recipe is totally full proof and is ready in minutes time!




Serving Size: ~1 heaping cup of buttery cabbage
  • Protein - 1.2 g
  • Carbs - 5.1 g
  • Fat - 11.5 g


  • 12 oz. (~5 to 6 cups) organic green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 oz. unsalted grass fed butter or ghee
  • sea salt & pepper

Cooking Utensils

  • medium non-stick skillet or cast-iron
  • spatula


  1. Add the butter to your skillet and turn to medium heat. Allow the butter to melt and then add your cabbage.
  2. Sauté the cabbage for 12-15 minutes until it reaches your desired consistency and color. Option to lower the heat for the last few minutes.
  3. Top with salt and pepper to taste. THAT’S IT! Serve alongside our Feta Burger Patties!
